The Characters of LEGO Lord of the Rings - The Good Guys...

LEGO Aragorn

Frodo Baggins
Frodo Baggins

Frodo Baggins

Of Bag End

Frodo Baggins of Bag End, like most Hobbits, is not easily affected by magic. Frodo volunteers to carry the One Ring of Sauron to The Crack of Doom, in Mordor, and destroy the One Ring forever. He soon feels the power of The Ring, and all the dark creatures who hunt him in their search for it will do anything to claim the One Ring for themselves and leave Middle-Earth in Sauron's hold. It is most difficult for a very small person to carry such a burden. Frodo will need all the help he can get from the Fellowship. He must summon all his courage, endurance, kindness, and strength, because even the smallest person can change the course of the future.

"I will take it! I will take the Ring to Mordor!" - Frodo in The Fellowship

Samwise Gamgee
Samwise Gamgee

Samwise "Sam" Gamgee

of the Shire

Samwise Gamgee is only called by his full name when he's in trouble. All his friends call him Sam. He and Frodo are best friends. Sam is a gardener, loves poetry, and his frying pan. He carries his frying pan with him everywhere he goes. It's a must for cooking and fighting Cave-Trolls and Orcs. No one could ask for a more loyal and brave friend. Nothing dampens his spirits, except maybe rain clouds. He would sacrifice his life for Frodo and for all the people of Middle-Earth. Evil will test his loyalty to Frodo, and the Ring will try to seduce him at all costs.

"...there is something good in this world, and it's worth fighting for." - Sam from The Two Towers

Meriadoc Brandybuck
Meriadoc Brandybuck

Meridaoc "Merry" Brandybuck

of the Brandywine

Merry, short for Meriadoc Brandybuck, is a Hobbit and a friend of Frodo. He literally stumbles into the Fellowship by accident after getting caught stealing vegetables from Farmer Maggot in the Shire. Merry is a really smart Hobbit. Other than food, his interests include books and maps, which come in handy as the Fellowship prepares for their quest. But there is much more to Merry than booksmarts. He will discover just how big a difference a small Hobbit can make.

"My lady!" - Merry from The Two Towers

Peregrine Took
Peregrine Took

Peregrine "Pippin" Took

of Tookland

Peregrin Took, or Pippin, is the youngest of the Hobbits. He and Merry are best friends. Pippin is usually a very happy Hobbit who is always ready to save the day on this quest. Usually, without thinking things through first. Sometimes that has it's problems and cause more trouble for the Fellowship, but his heart is in it. Mealtimes are his favorite times of the day, and since Hobbits eat breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, luncheons, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, and sometimes midnight bacon and tomatoes, this could explain why he is always happy. His curiosity and free spirit will be tested beyond his imagination on this journey, as he experiences talking trees, orcs who want to eat him, and horses that stomp on you - His trials will change him forever.

"You will need people of intelligence on this mission, quest..thing..." - Pippin from The Fellowship

Gandalf the Grey
Gandalf the Grey

Gandalf the Grey

The Grey Pilgrim...

Gandalf the Grey is believed to be the wisest and most powerful Wizard in Middle-Earth. His fireworks are quite amazing as well. But it takes more than fireworks to overcome the dangers and threats the Fellowship face on their mission - to destroy the One Ring of Sauron. Gandalf has long fought against the evil of Sauron. His most trusted weapon is his staff. It can be used to cast spells, light up dark places, and it makes for an excellent walking stick. He alone can lead the Fellowship, help them find their way through mountains, mines and myriads of enemies...and if in doubt, always follow your nose.

"I will come with you, Frodo Baggins." - Gandalf from The Fellowship

Aragorn, the Ranger
Aragorn, the Ranger

Aragorn "Elessar"

of Arnor

Aragorn is a descendant of the lost line of the ancient kings of Men, in the Kingdom of the Northern Kingdom of Arnor, and of the Southern Kingdom of Gondor . To protect him from enemies, the Elves raised Aragorn, and his identity was kept secret, including to himself, for many a year. His Elven name is Elessar, or Elfstone. Aragorn is wise, valiant and a loyal protector of the Hobbits, the Shire, and The Fellowship of the Ring. He has fought many battles but still sees the best in all people. He is ready to go with Frodo to the end of their adventure, to the fires of Mount Doom to save the entire world of Middle-Earth. That's all really nice and good, but he still has many things to learn about second breakfasts.

"You have my Sword." - Aragorn from The Fellowship

Legolas Greenleaf
Legolas Greenleaf

Legolas Greenleaf

of Mirkwood

A Prince of the Elven Kingdom of Mirkwood, Legolas Greenleaf uses a bow like no other person in the World of Middle-Earth. He moves like a deer - swift, stealthy, and graceful. His senses are sharp as a fox, and he is always one with nature and all living things. He is an Elf of few words and magnificent actions and likes a little healthy competition among allies and friends in battle, especially when he's competing with his best friend, Gimli the Dwarf!

You would die before your stroke fell! - Legolas from the The Two Towers

Gimli, Son of Gloin
Gimli, Son of Gloin

Gimli, Son of Gloin

of Erebor, and the Iron Hills

Gimli has eyes like a hawk, ears like a fox... well, kind of. He strongly mistrusts the Elves, be they from Mirkwood, or Rivendell, or Lorien - He mistrusts them all! But when the time arrives for the Fellowship to set out for the Dark Land of Mordor, Gimli is ready to fight beside Legolas, although him being an Elf. He may be a little shorter than most of his companions, but he is strong as a rhinoceros, and speedy to swing and throw his many axes at anybody who threatens his allies, friends, or their mission - no matter how big or evil they may, or claim to be. Whatever Gimli does, he is committed, and stays focused until the end.

"And my Axe." - Gimli from The Fellowship

Boromir
Boromir

Boromir

of Gondor

Boromir has not had an easy, or simple life. He has been fighting all his life to protect his people in a kingdom stewarded by his mad and crazy father, Denethor, Steward of Gondor. He is trying very hard to keep the rising powers of Mordor's Evil at bay and keep his beloved Kingdom of Gondor safe from harm. At first he tries to claim the One Ring for himself to gain strength, but he agrees to join the Fellowship and bring the Ring to its destruction in the Crack of Doom. He is a great swordsman and teaches the Hobbits how to defend themselves in battle. As a bonus, when Evil comes close, he will blow the Horn of Gondor to keep them at bay with it's deep, booming sound. Yet, he is torn between protecting Frodo in his quest to bring the Ring to Mordor, and his desire to finally have the power his kingdom would need if he could bring the Ring home to Minas Tirith, the Capital of Gondor. In the end he will have to finally choose where his loyalties lie, and pay the price for it, as well.

"You carry the fate of us all little one." - Boromir in The Fellowship

Théoden, of Rohan
Théoden, of Rohan

Théoden

King of Rohan

Poisoned by the Evil of Saruman, King Théoden of Rohan is a shadow of the king he used to be in his younger days. His will is weak, and he is close to surrendering to Isengard, and the Dark Powers that threaten to destroy the sad remains of his desolate realm. Not even his loving and loyal nephew, Ãomer, or his beloved niece, Ãowen, can save him from the despair that has consumed, and corrupted him. Once he was restored to health and soundness of spirit by Gandalf, the King immediately banishes his evil counselor, the traitor Grima Wormtongue from his hall, and again leads his people with wisdom and bravery, to victory.

"To Wrath and Ruin, and to World's Ending!" - Théoden from The Return of the King

Ãomer of Rohan
Ãomer of Rohan

Ãomer

of Rohan

Ãomer is the nephew of King Théoden and heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Rohan. He was banished by his own Uncle and sent into exile for trying to save the king from the dark powers of Isengard, and Saruman that have left the people of Rohan in despair and decay. He is followed by a loyal band of soldiers, from Rohan, and even though it seems like all hope is lost for the Kingdom of Rohan, he stays true to his mission to protect his family, save his uncle, and the people of his beloved Kingdom.

"Not alone." - Ãomer from The Two Towers

Haldir of Lorien
Haldir of Lorien

Haldir

Protector of Lorien

Haldir is an honorable Elf of Lorien. Like Legolas, he dislikes the Dwarves and has had no dealings with them for thousands of years. When the Fellowship enters the Heart of Elvendom on Middle-Earth, Haldir will not allow them to pass through this sacred ground. The Ring is too evil, and he does not trust Gimli. Aragorn convinces him to let go of the past for the greater good of Middle-earth. Haldir and his people agree to help the Fellowship on their journey and fight in the great Battle of Helm's Deep.

"We are honored to once more stand and fight alongside men." -Haldir from The Two Towers
